Originally an Indiana native, Karla graduated with Honors from Ball State University in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture. 

Before founding Native Bloom, Karla began her career at Cotluer & Hearing in Jupiter, Florida where she was a critical part of the design team focused on FDOT design projects.

During her 11 years with the Cotluer & Hearing, Karla played a role in  projects spanning all facets of professional landscape architecture design: community, commercial and high end residential properties  and was well regarded by her colleagues and clients.

In 2013, Karla founded Native Bloom, Inc. 

Karla’s commitment to design excellence and devotion to her craft, has earned her a reputation for being

 professional , detailed, responsive and creative.

With 20 plus years of experience in all aspects of outdoor landscape design, Karla oversees all design projects and delivers design solutions enhancing outdoor experiences while exceeding the expectations of our clients.
